Amenities - The Vanderbilt Beach ResortA small hotel with big amenities

We go there for a weekend getaway at least once a year, and are never disappointed. The beach is right there, steps from your room, as is the pool. Turtle Club restaurant is excellent for lunch and dinner. They run a great deal in the off-season which includes a dinner… and a lunch… and a choice of one of several activities. Beach chairs and towels included also.

We are pleased to offer a number of amenities to make your stay with us a unique and relaxing beachfront vacation.

First and foremost is our beautiful beach. Vanderbilt Beach is a beautiful white sand beach that stretches approximately five miles from Clam Pass to Wiggins Pass. Whether you decide to take a leisurely stroll along the beach to enjoy the sights, swim or snorkel in the Gulf's gentle waters, sunbathe on the beach, or fish for the local snook that school just offshore in the summer, the beach is a never ending delight.

In order to make your visit to the beach more relaxing and enjoyable, the Resort offers a full beach service which will provide you with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, drink tables and drink service on the beach. You may even want to try your hand at our beachside "Ringmaster" bimini ring game to see if you can join the hall of fame.

Did you know that we are one of the best Stand Up Paddleboard destinations in the country?  We now offer PAU HANA paddleboards for rent right at the hotel so that you can enjoy this new sport and cruise the Gulf with the dolphins or ride its gentle waves.  Moreover, we are the only place in Naples where you can rent WAVEJET paddleboards that have a jet propulsion system on the bottom of the board that allow you to travel 7 miles an hour without even paddling! Its silent, fast and a ton of fun.

We can also help you book fishing charters, sailing trips or other water excursions with our water sports business partners. Our beachside hospitality is second to none!

We also offer a heated beachfront swimming pool and patio area for those who would prefer to swim or sunbathe poolside. The pool is great for kids and adults alike, and you can curl up in a lounge chair by the pool to catch up on reading your favorite novel. In the winter, the pool offers a balmy alternative to the sometimes cooler Gulf temperatures.

We have recently begun renting beach cruiser bikes right at the hotel.  So now you can explore the Vanderbilt Beach area or Pelican Bay by bike, or take a day trip ride to try out the beaches at Wiggins Pass State Park, Clam Pass Park, or Bonita Beach.

At the end of each day, be sure to stop in at our award winning Turtle Club Restaurant for a sunset cocktail or the casual fine dining coastal cuisine that has made the restaurant famous with both locals and visitors alike. After a "Green Flash" cocktail at the Turtle Club during sunset, you may want to take an evening stroll on the beach to enjoy the moon and the balmy breezes before taking a few steps to your room to retire for the evening. Be careful, the Turtle Club's menu can become addictive!

If you need to check e-mail or (gasp!) do some work on your laptop during your stay with us, you can use our free wireless internet to surf the web to your heart's content. Forgot to bring your computer? No problem, our free public use iMac in the front office allows you to keep in touch with the world or print boarding passes.

Alhough many of our guests like to forget about the outside world during their stay with us, we offer free daily newspaper service if you want to reconnect with what's going on in the world or keep tabs on your favorite stock. Stop in our front office to pick up your paper, grab a complimentary cup of coffee and chat with our staff about the weather. No worries here!

Want to come to the hotel by boat? No problem. The hotel is one of the few properties in Naples that has its own boat docks. These docks are available on a first come first served basis for our guests who want to take advantage of Naples exquisite boating conditions by bringing their own boat.
