Sunmageddon

I was reading the horror stories in the newspaper this morning about the effect of the midwest and northeast snow storms that are being referred to as "Snowmageddon"  and could not help but feel tremendously lucky to be here in Naples.

The weather has been perfect the last few days -- with bright sunny days and temperatures in the low 80's.  The Gulf Of Mexico has been unusually calm and Capt. Jay reports that the the fishing has been darn good.   Dolphins have been making regular appearances in front of the hotel, and the sunsets have been spectacular.  The hotel is busy and bustling with guests, many of whom are delighting in the fact that they have escaped the bad weather up North.  Our beach attendant Russ is keeping busy supplying guests with beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, and the Turtle Club is going full tilt serving margaritas, rum drinks and pina coladas to the sun worshippers on the beach.

Life is good and is moving at a slow and relaxed pace.  There is really no place else that you should be right now.   So hop on a plane, escape the snow and come visit us in paradise!
